About us
Notion
RENÈ is a Copenhagen-based genderless brand, with a focus on bold silhouettes with a voluminous and modern appearance that transcends conventional gender identifications.
Our design approach merges bold creativity, cultural influence, and responsible principles. We reject traditional fashion norms and embrace individuality and diversity. Inspired by the exploration of “femininity” and “masculinity,” our Danish heritage, and profound ties to Asian culture, our aesthetic reflects the rich tapestry of global influences.
We embrace the beauty of diversity by creating garments that fit various body types and challenge conventional gendered fashion. Our designs feature bold silhouettes with exaggerated proportions, capturing attention while promoting inclusivity.
We believe in a holistic approach to design, development, and production – using a blend of modern and traditional methods within a framework that considers economic, environmental and social factors.
Values
Currently, we primarily focus on two Sustainable Development Goals: Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12) and Partnership for the Goals (SDG 17).
We support these goals by using CAD software in the design process, which minimizes the number of prototypes needed. We also utilize deadstock materials from reputable manufacturers in Italy and Japan to deliver high-quality products.
Our production is socially sustainable as well. our styles are produced by reputable tailors in Thailand and family-owned businesses, providing meaningful employment to women facing difficult circumstances. Additionally, we follow a low-batch production model to ensure we do not produce more than we can sell.
In this way, we combine a responsible low-batch production process, high-quality textiles, CAD software in the design process, precision in detail, timeless aesthetics, and an inclusive design approach integrated into everything from pattern cutting to marketing.
By offering clothing that fits different body types, RENÈ creates a more environmentally friendly model that reduces waste and addresses the needs of a contemporary consumer base, highlighting RENÈ’s commitment to both innovation and sustainability.
Dreams
We dream of establishing a genderless fashion brand that merges sustainable production practices, craftsmanship from different parts of the world with innovative product presentations, and a community that fosters unrestricted self-expression and embraces the richness of human diversity.
We believe that fashion evolves through the core of human ingenuity, and this arises through the combination of preserving craftsmanship, innovation, and respect for human creativity.
Fundamentally, we believe that a strong fashion brand today must create a space that embraces diversity, creativity, and new technology, while remaining attentive and responsible to our planet.
Our dream is therefore to establish a space that celebrates diversity through voluminous and sophisticated clothing, made from sustainable textiles and production methods, that combine modern and traditional approaches based on human craftsmanship and intellect

Dreams
We dream of establishing a genderless fashion brand that merges sustainable production practices and craftsmanship from around the world with innovative presentations and a community that fosters unrestricted self-expression and celebrates human diversity.
Fundamentally, a strong fashion brand today must create a space that upholds these values: diversity, creativity, and new technology, while remaining attentive and responsible to our planet.
Our ultimate vision is to create this space – celebrating diversity through voluminous and sophisticated clothing made from sustainable textiles and production methods, blending modern and traditional approaches rooted in craftsmanship and intellect. This should be brought to life through cutting edge technologies such as CAD software and creative media like animation, videos, and photography.
In doing so, we aim to revive dignity and recognition in clothing production and design, forging a symbiotic connection between tradition, innovation, sustainability, and a community that fosters collaboration and cultural understanding.
